Hey guys whats uppp. So I decided to make this blog for us to share our awesome summer workout stories and also keep ourselves updated on our lives this summer. So. Where are you this summer? What are you doing there? How have you been working out? Swimming in the Cube in Beijing? Running 5ks for Pancreatic Cancer? Rowing with cute boys? Haha. Share! So that we may all benefit from your endorphins. Also, people in the same place can use this to organize group workouts :) Yayy team.

ReplyDeleteI'm at home in Cleveland doing an internship at the Cleveland Clinic. I make sure that I leave at 4 pm every day so I can get out of there and work out! I've been running and erging and doing core stuff. I've also been sculling a bit, mostly in the 1x. But yesterday I got to row a 2x with an Oxford blue. It was pretty sweet, but also I have never rowed with someone who is 100 lbs heavier and 8-9 inches taller than me, so that was exciting.

Hilda and I took out a 2x twice last week. We were able to stay in the basin because the water was really nice. We even threw in a couple 500 meter pieces on our second row as we were starting to feel a little more comfortable rowing together. In addition I've been running and swimming. Actually, yesterday there was this girl who was probably almost 6' running along the Esplinade and I was keeping up with her pretty well until we hit the Mass Ave bridge where I turned.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Marie, I see Ale almost every day just walking around and he's always by himself - it makes me sad that you're not around. Glad you're having fun in Cleveland though.
