Hgram and I noticed this blog goes largely unused most of spring season, so we may be giving occasional updates... What might these updates be about?
Well...
GUM OF THE WEEK
We all know gum is an integral part of our diet during spring season for various reasons... but with Wrigley and Orbit and Trident adding new flavors left and right (plus the black market of gum trading on bus rides within our team) we thought it might be useful to post short reviews on some of the newer/best flavors. I mean, when you go through a pack a day, you want to have made a solid choice in flavor so that you don't go around wanting to spit it out as soon as you start chewing.
Today's flavor (A classic):
Bubblemint
Does anyone remember that awful attempt Stride made at flavor changing gum? That weird one that went from like, berry to mint? I'm no fan of the mint+fruit combination but I do enjoy sweet with some minty overtones. If you're looking for a good mix of sweet and refreshing without feeling like you just drank juice, bubblemint is for you. It's pink (which is an amazing choice in color). It's got the classic bubblegum flavor, but with this minty-ness to it without tasting like peppermint/spearmint. Like that cooling cough drop feel surrounding the bubblegum flavor we all know and love. Chewing too much of this can make you slightly sick to your stomach, and I think it acquires a weird texture if you leave it somewhere warm and then let it cool down again and then chew it... but all-in-all.. I've been chewing this flavor for forever (and Costco sells it in bulk!). So if you're a tried-and-true mint fan, or strictly fruity, I think both sides can reconcile over this delightful blend.

wow you guys are amazing hahah.
ReplyDeletealso. I liked the flavor changing gum!
flavor changing is okay but the bursts kind of freak me out. plus they claim that it changes after like 5 minutes or something but it actually changes after like a minute tops, liars.
