Hey guys,
Nothing much new in OH (definitely nothing as exciting as racing w/ U-23s!). I keep getting stuck on land because now someone else is also using the 1x I was using and holes keep cropping up. Lame. It rained really hard yesterday afternoon, and after the rain there's always lots of weird debris and the river turns this really lovely shade of milky brown. Yesterday I saw this table floating by me, and then I saw something that I thought was a weird log but on closer inspection it turned out to be a dead gopher or something. Ew. It's also been really hot and humid the past few days; Sunday afternoon I was reading a book in my yard and after about an hour I decided to go weigh myself to see if I was sweating as much as I thought and I had sweated off almost 2 lbs just from sitting there.
I am going to be in Camden from tomorrow through Sunday, so if anyone wants to come hang out in the awesome town of Camden, NJ, I would LOVE the company. But I'm actually a little bit excited because the hotel I'm staying at is right near the Wegman's! Which makes me very happy because I really like that store. I'm also hoping to talk to some people at Resolute and maybe follow in Stephen Young's illustrious footsteps and work there for a summer.
I've also been having a fun time helping some of the masters women (we don't really have anything between like collegiate club and masters rowing here, unfortunately) with making lightweight. They ask me for tips and I get all excited because I know how to do that!
On a completely different topic, I want to have a bacon-themed party sometime this year. Baconfest '09? Ooooooh yeaaaaaah. When are people back? We can start working out together, and eating bacon together. I'll be back next weekend. (~the 22nd)
All right well I should get back to work, and by that I mean I should go take some more Internet quizzes...after many tries I can now name 188 of 195 countries of the world. All right, I'm going to go see how many fonts I can identify! Later!
