hey everyone!

i love hearing what everybody is up to. although in comparison my summer seems way too much like the rest of the year. i took a pilates class this morning! then when i got to work i felt awesome and it was 1000 times easier to sit up straight. so i think i'll keep doing that. otherwise, not that many interesting workouts in my life. i've been doing a lot of different types of workouts (like swimming! crazay), mainly to avoid the heat. OH. my work is awesome. it's right on the water near this supercool marina with lots and lots of boats. it's so cool. it has become my official life goal to own an awesomely huge sailboat which i can sleep in and take cute photos on the bow of (also the bow has to be white with railings i can lean over while the wind blows my hair beautifully) (also i will need to learn to be fierce before said photos happen). anyway my office is this really cool looking old brick building and it is divided into "bays," like i sit in the "structural bay." awwwww i love boat references! also the "doorways" are just cute little brick arches. i feel like it should be a boathouse. right now i am typing up reports of tunnels (keeping you guys safe on I-93!) but the exciting part of my job is that on thursday nights (ie, from 11pm thurday -5am friday) i become a tunnel rat and climb around in the tunnels inspecting things! i have my own hard hat and safety vest. although i commonly get really confused about what time it is when i wake up because my fridays (when i sleep from 6am to 1pm or so) mess me up a lot.

not much else is new around here. it finally got a little cooler so i might actually be able to run outdoors today!

IT'S ALMOST THE 4TH OF JULY!!!!

  1. I have the same dream of owning an awesomely huge sailboat! I should learn to sail. Or find someone to marry who knows how to sail.

  3. I love sailing. unfortunately i'm working so my brothers are the only ones learning. but the people who live in our back yard (maybe a picture to explain this a little better) own one... and i may go out on it one day since the water is 250 m from my back door (yeah, i measure in metric. rowing has forever changed my distance measurements) :)
