While you guys were in FL, I did approximately 1 workout--but it reminded me of crew and of FL training :) Since I've had to part with you all, I've been getting weaker and slower...but I was on a camping trip with my friend on the sailing team, who has been working out a lot this year. He guilted me into doing his sailing abs workout with him. So we put down a tarp at the Grand Canyon National Park and did a bunch of core stuff. 4x40 crunches, 4x40 twisty sit up things, 4x20 leg lifts, to be exact. Very different from our core stuff (I like ours better, but I think back muscles are much more important in crew than in sailing), but it reminded me of laying on the tennis courts in FL doing post-sets.
Then my friend did like 70 pushups, and I did lots of planking and bridging. I didn't want to embarrass myself..you know what my pushups are like.
I was sore for like 4 days. Even laughing hurt.
But I got to work out there :)
