Hi All,
I don't have too much to write about because I pretty much just wake up, row, eat, nap, eat, row, eat, sleep, repeat. Which is a great summer lifestyle but doesn't lead to interesting blog posts. But this morning we pieced a few doubles against each other, including an MIT openweight 2x of Catherine and Jean, and me and a girl from Hamilton, so it kind of reminded me of wednesday morning scrimmages against the openweights. Since they are openweights and it is Wednesday morning. Fun times! I don't have any pictures but luckily we all know what I look like sculling thanks to my mom and a cake. This morning we did a 10' piece and a 2k. Antonia and I actually managed to go nice and straight and be a length up by the end of the 10' piece, although we were not so successful on the 2k. I would like to think at least some of this has to do with our ... "needs improvement" start. Oh, and I drew a nice big "S" curve in the first 700m, so that was good, I'll probably expand on that steering strategy for IDR. S IS FOR SPEEDY RIGHT? All jokes aside though, never had more love for you, Emily. If you could just handle the curve in Philly for me next weekend that'd be cool.
I don't have much other news because I don't do much of anything. It's a pretty good life. I ate a lot of wheat thins yesterday. I live with Sara Ferry. They were her wheat thins.
Last but not least: Congratulations, Lizzy!! Have a great time in Taiwan!
