Henley

So, I have been chilling in Toronto this summer... Rowing out of the Argonaut Rowing Club... and yesterday we loaded out trailer for Canadian Henley! I'm super excited, although since my partner isn't ltwt, we are racing against 29 other open weight pairs. This could be interesting. My goal is just to make it semis, which will probably be a challenge just because some of these girls are HUGE... but I'm pumped for racing regardless. The atmosphere at Henley will be cool also - my friend is letting me crash at his cottage at Niagra On the Lake, about 20 minutes away from the course, and he's throwing a huge BBQ for all the ARC rowers. Also, I don't know about you guys, but I'm a total spandex junkie and I love shopping at the JL tents at the big regattas! Henley will definitely be great racing experience as well. I believe I will be seeing Amelia there :)
